Meet Rivkah
Rivkah Bacharach has been immersed in contemplative Jewish and Eastern philosophical traditions since a young age. Her early studies in Jewish prayer, ritual, and spiritual practice took her to Tzfat and Jerusalem, as well as to Neve Yerushalayim College for Women. Over the years she has also studied with renowned spiritual teachers including Thich Nhat Hanh, Ram Dass, and Krishna Das, integrating wisdom from both Jewish and Eastern contemplative lineages.
Rivkah holds a degree in Yoga and Psychology from Naropa University, where she deepened her exploration of the relationship between body, mind, and healing. Her work bridges somatic awareness, spiritual practice, and trauma-informed care.
Following the March 22, 2021 King Soopers mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, Rivkah developed and implemented a somatic trauma support protocol at the Boulder Strong Resource Center, where she worked closely with survivors and community members affected by the tragedy.
She currently supports survivors of the June 1st antisemitic firebombing attack in Boulder, Colorado, offering trauma-informed care that integrates hands-on somatic touch, sound healing, and prayer. Her work is rooted in compassion, presence, and the belief that the body holds an innate capacity for healing when met with safety, attunement, and care.
